Efficiency Levels

What is it?
An efficiency level (EL) is simply a measure of how accurate and well-placed your moves are on SSBB. There are ten EL's from 1-10, with Efficiency Level 10 being the most efficient.

How does it work?

You need to request an EL Evaluation to get your EL determined. You can do so by posting in this thread, and saying when you are available. There are a total of two brawl matches during an EL evaluation, which will be evaluated afterwards using the sheet in the below post.

Non-brawling rules:
-You must wait another week before receiving another EL test.

Brawling rules:
-Two matches
-3 Stocks per match
-3 Minute Time Limit
-Your opponents will be a Level 9 CPU Metaknight during the first match, and a Level 9 CPU Snake during the second match.
-Stage is determined by member on both matches.
-Stalling is not allowed, if caught, the evaluation is voided.

The below sheet will be used to determine efficiency.

Member Tested: ?
Date Tested: ?

Successful Moves: ?
Total Moves: ?
Offensive Efficiency: ?%(Successful Moves divided by Total Moves)

Enemy Moves Avoided: ?
Total Enemy Moves: ?
Defensive Efficiency: ?%(Enemy Moves Avoided divided by Total Enemy Moves)

Bonus Efficiency: ?
Overall Efficiency: ?(Offensive E divided by Defensive E)
Efficiency Level:

Offensive Moves:
Moves used to inflict damage to the opponent count as offensive. An offensive move is considered successful if the attack touches the target, even if the attack it blocked.

Offensive Exceptions:
-Multi-attack moves count as 1 move total. (i.e. Fox Blaster, Meta Tornado, Falco Spin)
-Moves used to recover to the stage do not count unless used offensively (causes damage).

Defensive Moves:
Moves used to avoid or cancel/reflect an on-coming attack count as defensive. A successful defensive move prevents the member from taking damage, or prevents the member from being knocked-back.

Bonus Percentage:
A total of 3% will be added to your Overall Efficiency IF you do not self-destruct.

Efficiency Levels:
The range your total efficiency falls into determines your EL.

0%-10% = EL 1
11%-20% =EL 2
21%-30% = EL 3
31%-40% = EL 4
41%-50%= EL 5
51%-60% = EL 6
61%-70% = EL 7
71%-80% = EL 8
81%-90%= EL 9
90%-100%= EL 10
