What needs to be done with the clan before the release of the new game, and how do we go about recruiting people?

I dunno, I kinda feel like people will just come back/in as the game gets closer to release date.

I can work on advertising though if you would like

Advertising would be helpful.  But, how do we connect with other brawlers and such now.  Social media?

Skype is a popular way of communication

But, branching out to new people.

I think it might be better to see who comes back first, and to help rebuild the forum for the new game. like character champions, get the teams back on track. I think we will have a decent sized clan again without even recruiting I would wait till the game comes out again to do serious recruiting.

Of course you are always welcome to recruit but don't feel obligated to.

I do think we should have some sort of smash fest planned at the very least when the game comes out although I will probably want to unlock all the characters before I play online

Social Media is certainly an option for recruiting. We could make a Twitter/Facebook page for the clan, which I think would be more effective(and convenient) than using our personal pages.

The most effective method in my opinion, would be to establish ourselves in a few communities dedicated to Smash (like AiB, as n10 suggested). We would basically be preaching to the choir. lol

There's also no reason why we couldn't do both.

Before all of this recruiting though, we have a lot internal organization to do. Events, responsibilites, ect.

I think our course of action will become clearer as the release date approaches. :p
