Its a fun arcade style fighter with roughly 20 characters from both Tatsunoko (an anime company nobody here incuding me has ever heard of) and Capcom. It is for Wii only and is a good looking game. Its got stuff from Street fighter like Ryu and Chun-Li and one other it also has Megaman Volnutt, Roll, and even Zero. Guy from Deadrising is in there and hes the only one to speak english but what they speak doesnt really affect it all that much its all about landing combos. Basic combo is Low Mid High or weak medium powerfull. But you could string them together in much different ways like L, L down, M, M forward, H, special, (hypercombo?) you cant do these kinds of strings with wiimote though.
Attack is any of the three attack commands
Special is what thier character uses that is unique to them such as the Haduken that Ryu uses and costs no energy
Hypercombo is a powered up form of thier special with Ryu thats quite literal and costs 1 bar for regular and 3 bars for thier large usually cinimatic scene.
For GC controller Y is Low, A is Mid, X is High, L is High, R is L,M,H (can use to dash instead of double tap or help with hypercombos) and finally B is Partner (P)
The specials and Hypercombos vary but they are mostly similar except for Karass
control pad D=Down, F=Forward, U=UP, B=Back, (DF= DownForward)
D to B + Att or D to F + Att
F to D to F + Att or B to D to B + Att
F to D to B + Att or B to D to F + Att
Hold B then F + Att
Those are the most common and if you want to do a hyper instead just press two attack buttons at the same time instead of one. A special moveset can be brought up and scrolled through in game.
Wiimote by itself makes the game way to easy. '1' is attack and goes L,M,H so you can mash it and look like you know what your doing plus incorperating specials is as easy as pressing '2' and a direction and for hypers its just '1' and '2' held plus a direction. You can set things even easier by having it auto combo FOR you whenever you send them up in the air (FD + H) it leaps after them and auto air combos them. The down side is your strings will always be L,M,H (you still get directional) and you wont be able to do things like L, L Down and you also cant do things like charge megamans buster AND attack at the same time. You also cant go out of turn either like if you wanted to poke with a long H attack you cant your stuck doing your first jab (but of course being able to pull specials off without even trying counter acts any reason why you would need that)
Oh and you can have your partner assist in battle by Pressing the P (Partner) button which is B on the GC and Wiimote and have them attack then leave. You can also do a Hyper then have them switch in with another Hyper by inputting another hyper while your doing one (if you do it as soon as you start yours its worthless cause you cut it off when you call them in) it costs 2-4 depending on how many you feel like doing or can string together. Also if you use P as soon as you input the hyper combo your partner will pop in with a hyper combo and you will BOTH be doing on at the same time. Megaman is the best to do this with IMO cause he locks them im place with rapid fire so you can walk up and combo them if yours is shorter or to protect you while you pull something off (like ROLL is protected while healing or Yatterman-2 can charge up thier special) another is ZERO can do some kind of aura that makes his combos crazy so you could hold them in place with mega and combo with ZERO. It takes up 1 for the initial Hyper plus 2 for calling in a partner to use it at the same time.
There is a lot more stuff to learn in the game though and I dont feel like writing anymore. I hope that helps anyone who is stuck or anyone who wants to know what this game is. Oh and out of the matches Ive played online they were all fine.
