| This is my first attempt at a signature- [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I want everyone's opinion judge it as hard as you possibly can it will make me see flaws in it. The program i'm using is Adobe Photoshop CS i'm using abstract brushes and layers (of course). Oh and sorry about the static like looking background I forgot to turn the background a certain color and blend so I accidentally turned the brushes the color that the background was supposed to be and left the background transparent. I'll fix that on the next signature I make. And the reason the lucario render is so blury is because i think my program is to old to really render images and keep the proportion straight so it gets a little weird looking I plan on using the pen tool on my next signature to get a more accurate image but the render will probably still be really blurry. And instead of using the pen tool to copy the image on to the signature I used copy and paste that's why you can stll see a little of the transparency on Lucario's paws and ear's.

| Here's a more updated version without the transparent background and brushes. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| I agree with you on you're first one, its very static-like, making it look like the quality of the image is very low. I do see this alot on beginning gFX creators, bits of the background of the original image, in this case, the white coloring around the edges of lucario. I like to use the "magic-wand" or "quick-selection" tools, cause they can easily erase those unwanted leftovers. Even the Magic Wand and Quick Selector can miss some spots, if you want absolutely no residue of the original background image, make your eraser 1 pt, and zoom in (ctrl+plus) until you can see every individual pixel. Now all you gotta do is erase every single one of them! (fun, I know) The second one is definately alot better, it's smoother, and just easier to look at. The thing I'd suggest is to put something that matches to occupy some of that space, there's alot of emptiness, so it kinda looks incomplete, no matter how good it is. Don't over do it however, too much stuff will make it look cluttered. |

Yeah, i'm going to try and learn to use brushes to make the picture flow a little more at the moment I was just trying to get the hang of rendering so i'm going to try and get a little more advanced. I hear what your saying about the magic wand also Eggdude, i'll try using it I don't quite know what most of those tools will do as far as effects to the overall signature. But if you recommend it then it can't hurt to try. I was also wondering what font do you use for your text Eggdude? I like that smooth written kinda neon look on that ''Wild Brawlers'' signature. |

| Here's another I think i'm getting the hang of this. Still not quite as advanced as I would like it to be but it's still pretty good if I do say so myself. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| I like the last two. The lucario one(the first one) is good but i think Lucario is like fading away, like someone washed him 20 times. |

| The "Quick Selection" tool is kinda hidden, all you have to do is click and hold on the "magic wand" and it will show up, this is how you will find all of the hidden tools. fLoPpY made my Wild Brawlers sig, so I'm not sure what Font she used. However, to make a neon effect, the text must be white, or very close to it. (very light blue, red, orange, ect.) Then, all you do is add an outer glow effect, and change the coloring to match the tint of your text. You can also add an inner glow (but I don't think that makes much of a difference.) You've learned really fast, I'm impressed with your new sigs, they show alot of progression in your abilities. And yes, the best way to learn is to mess with everything. lol Oh, and you know how sometimes when you insert an image and remove its background, and that makes the edges of the image look a little pixelated? You can use the Smudge or Blur tool, I find those two really useful. |

| Maybe it's a bug or something but all of the sudden i've gotten really interested in Eggdudes ''Tie Die'' kind of signature making so here is my first attempt at a neon MegaKnuckles Signature. Please comment and give your thoughts on the artwork. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The amazing part of this is that I finally understand how you make such dazzling, color blended, artwork Eggdude. At first I was taking your animation concept entirely the wrong way I thought you were just editing sprite sheets and giving them that kid of ''Tie Die'' shading. What's really amazing is that your on a whole different level of animation then I am as far as animation goes. I also now understand why it takes much longer to produce your ''special'' animations then it takes me to produce my sprite animations. I'm going to produce an animated avatar---''Tie Die'' and have it evaluated by you Eggdude to see if I have mastered or atleast got the gist of what i'm going to call "Eg9 animation." By the way, what specific version of Photoshop are you using Eggdude? I'm using CS3. |

| Lol well in a way I guess you could say I pirated it. My mother works on the air force base and my father is a veteran. My mother does Graphic design like signatures, book covers, and T-shirts well if you've ever heard of ROTC the shirts that they wear that have the logo on the back of them with the air force symbol and the words inside of them that say pride, courage, strength etc.. yeah my mom had a part in that.
Anyways, since my mom works so closely with the type of animation that we deal with the base supplies her with any type of programs she might need and she just downloads the program on to a disk from her computer on base and marks some codes on it and gives it to me and I just download it into my computer.
Ehh in a way I guess you could say i'm pirating or stealing, but I prefer benefiting from others technology.
What's really awesome about this setup is that whenever the base upgrades I can too so I might have CS5 pretty soon.
And not to put a point on this or anything but if the Air Force uses Photoshop i'm pretty sure that means that means Photoshopers own! And Gimpers FAIL!
That one was for you Eggdude lol. |
