I just got photoshop recently and i attempted to make myself a signature for the first time

I have no knowledge of how to do these things so im actually amazed on how other did it because this took me 4 hours... (-_-)

Well what do you think about it for my first try?

Link render is a bit blurry and the text is kinda hard to see. not really digging the background either. @__@ Render choice and placements are good, though. So props on that.

Oh sorry I fixed Link already ill post the new one... And why dont you like the background D:

And I dont even know how to really make backgrtounds..

What color should I make the font?

I personally like it.
I'm not very good at making sigs, banners, avas, ect. Myself.
But I really like to view them and look for things that could make them better.
1st: Fix that white box thing behind links head. (Unless its supposed to be there, just looks weird.)
2nd: Your Font should make a more should be adding more spice to your pizza. Make it Shine! Make it Bold! Make it however you like. Just so people can notice it.
3rd: WHY WOULD LINK SHOOT ZELDA!?

I dont know how to make the fonts.. Changing the color of them alone was annoying to me...I just used the fonts my friend gave me...I wanted to cut it up into pieces and increrase but then again idk how to..

And It was originally suppose to be her/Sheik doing Light arrows but the pictures all showed her with a bow facing diagonally instead of straight like link.. and then I tried toonlink but getting rid of the battlefield background was annoying.

Just download the font. You want. On the Homepage it tells you how to install em.

My friend made the font... He made during the summer but he never did the banner.. so since i have photoshop i might as well do it.

it's off-centered (the zelda symbol thing), probably would look better if the characters werent used as side borders thier colour is kinda orangy wich doesn't go well with your cool coloured bg imo

It isn't total garbage though, actually not too bad for a starter I was thinking some glossy text might make it look cool too, but now I'm just thinking randomly

I honestly couldnt fit the characters any other way...All of them at least... and i was kind of in a rush....

I didnt want the Triforce crescent to be in the center... I wanted the smashball to be in the really right part and then the triforce crescent just went under

Hmm it seems that a few graphics related things are poping up here, wouldnt they be better suited under the art/graphics section?

Oh yea :/ Ive never been to that section.. Well never made a thread there.

i could move the crescent but does that really matter lol? Its a wallpaper so most of it will be covered anyway.

Not bad considering you just got PS. I'm impressed by how well you "cut" the original images out of their backgrounds, most newbies tend to leave specks of the original background here and there that is distracting. However, you did miss a bit of the original background right behind link, towards the upper right corner.

I thought how you arranged the brawl characters on your second one was cool, but the background overall seemed kinda all over the place, and the text didn't really match much. The concept is great, you just don't have the experience of manipulating everything smoothly yet with PS (which you will get eventually).

I can tell you put creative thinking and effort into both of your pieces, instead of just kinda throwing random pics together. So good job obi, looking forward to seeing more from you!

1. When I took Link out I knew he had specs as you mentioned but the thing is I didnt notice that big piece towards the side until I actually uploaded it. But then I was too Lazy to correct myself :/

2. That background was just random. It was originally blue and gold but when i picked some options on artisic some of them looked ugly some of them were plain and some of them were cool looking that I liked such as the 2nd one.

3. I learned some new stuff from N10do_STAR and I just learned how to make things transparent and to blend multiple objects so Im kind of ecstatic on the next one
