I have my Wii, too (Hooray!), but..... I really doubt that I can get internet connection through it cuz i had to download a clean access agent in order to get on the internet service i'm using right now, which i'm pretty sure you can't do on a Wii.

so, yeah......

Deck do 2 things if u want to play online on ur wii. 1 buy a lan adapter. 2 get a lan cord hook it to your wii and laptop. You should be able to get internet to ur wii that way.

Actually nintendo sells some sort of adapter that you can plug in to your wii and laptop and you will be able to connect. You should find it if you ask about it in a game store. As long as you can connect with your laptop you can go online with your wii. IDK where you are using your connection. If you are at the school you might run into some trouble playing brawl.

thats what a lan cord looks like. ur laptop should have an ethernet plug in.

I don't know if you'll be able to buy a lan cord though. Shouldn't be too much though. Just don't get a 100ft one and I think the price should be fine.

Now, getting a nintendo wifi connector (the thing that plugs into your computer and grants you internet with your wii or ds) crossed my mind, but...... I don't wanna spend money, and I figured that connecting to the internet from my wii through my computer wirelessly may be awfully slow because my computer itself is connected to the internet wirelessly via a wireless router (the location of said router is unknown to me... it's somewhere in the school...).
as for connecting my wii directly to my computer? Well, I have an ethernet cable already, but the wii doesn't have an ethernet port, but I also have some thingy at home where there is an ethernet port on one side and the other side has a usb connector. Would that work? I tried using it with my wii instead of the wireless router, but when i tried to set up connection, my wii immediately said that it was unable to connect.
Oh, and the school won't care if I play wii.

Thats cool I used to bring brawl to school on fridays and we would all play it was fun.

Oh and Skin isnt here anymore. Its unfortunate but it was his time to move on, life comes before games.
