I subbed for you guys a few days ago, I intended for it to be a temporary thing but.. I decided to stay and eggdude encouraged it! So: I'm 19, I live on the east coast and I'm a veteran smash bros player, been playing since it came out! Been very good at melee for years, and in the middle of last may I finally got my Wii and played brawl for the first time. And then I got internet for my wii on the first of the month!

I main with game and watch right now, and in real life my secondaries are link, falco and peach, but I can't seem to adjust to the wifi lag with them as well as I can with game and watch.. so I stick with him for online battles.

Well its a whole new game with brawl now. I definatly cant play link like I used to, its just not the same, but not being the same didnt turn out to bad, I still enjoy the game very much. As for lag, you can improve your connection by plugging straight into the net. IDK how it works because Im just using WiFi, lag used to suck cause I was so far away from the router. If you have a lot of blue connections then it obviously isnt you. What is the thing you miss most about melee?

Oh BTW Captain Ellipsis is our other Melee vet, I know most of us have the game but he was more competitive than we were, you should check out some of his vids/HRCs. G&W has some incredible IASA frames in his smashes and moves which is what makes him frustrating to fight in lag, not to mention his rediculous priority, he was buffed pretty well for brawl...
